mothersunlight: ([Ammy] Locked in stone)

[You may or may not have noticed Shiranui slinking off into the darkness the night the curse was drawing to a close, limping tiredly. Since then, a statue of Ammy (resembling her 'normal' self more than her 100-year-old self) has been set in the forest, within sight of lamufao.

You may feel a pull, a small surge in energy, coming from the statue. Oddly enough, you may also find a mirror propped against lamufao resembling Ammy's Divine Retribution reflector. Do you take it to the statue...?]

((OOC: Don't worry about which thread is 'canon', you can handwave that. By which I mean you can release Ammy from being a statue or you can find her already released, either works!))

Anyone welcome to threadjack/help Celes?

[The forest was just another place to train for her, but something was different about it now. Celes gave into curiosity and followed this odd pull she felt. Soon she was standing before a statue. Gingerly she placed a hand on it.]
Did this place magic something else here..? [Inspects the statue closely.] You look like that pretty dog.

[She didn't remember this before, but it looks like it has been there a while.] Hmm...

[She was looking around the statue for drag marks. The forest remained untouched by changes aside from the wolf tribute. Her gaze finally looked beyond the forest, settling on whatever was against the Great Coral.]

[She's not the kind to be drawn in by something pretty and shiny.

But magical? Oh yes. Blue eyes were on the statue for a moment longer, before she crossed over to where the Great Coral was. Again there weren't any indication someone dragged this to the spot. Celes hesitated a moment before touching the surface of the mirror.] I think I've seen you some where before...

[Which translated to her that the mirror was taken care of, while the pretty statue wasn't. There was a power there, and it reminded her a bit of the three goddess' statues. Celes lifted the mirror, knowing it shouldn't be left there. Who knows what Kefka would do with it.]
Where to put you..?
[It should be with it's kind. Hopefully this wouldn't rearrange this cursed city under the sea. Returning back to the statue with mirror in hand.]

[Kagome was tired still but she felt too restless to stay in bed. Wandering in the forest, she came across the statue.]

Amaterasu?

[She looked around but she couldn't see anything else. She started to slowly wander around the statue as she tried to think of something. She could feel a small surge in energy coming from it but she wasn't quite sure what to do.]

Don't worry Amaterasu! I'll take care of you.

[As Kagome sat next to the statue, the sun glinted off something and caught her eye.] What?

[She walked over and inspected the mirror. She glanced back at the statue and again the mirror. She picks it up and looks it over. She moves back so she can sit next to the statue again as she still looks the mirror over.

[When the mirror trembled, Kagome let it go. When the flames flickered to life, she rolled off to the side as she stood up and stared.

When she heard the whine, she approached, still slightly away.]

Ama..Aamaterasu?

[Kagome still stayed away as she looked the wolf over.]

Are you okay?

[She knew it was safe now so she walked over and sat next to her wolf friend. She went to lay a gentle hand on her, as she glanced back to where the statue use to be.]

You poor thing!

[She was still tired, but she wanted to make sure that her friend was safe.]
